Why Is 'T' The Most Dangerous Letter?

I don’t know about you, but I’m not one of those who reels off a long list of New Year Resolutions on approaching the stroke of midnight on Dec 31st each year.  This time last year however, I did make a few simple vows.  To get out more, spend more time with family and friends, and to indulge myself in a lot more music! Singing and performing was always a huge passion, having sung in church since I was 5 years old, doing it professionally for many years and it’s also how I met my husband.

I always get a sudden surge of energy and optimism in March and April, as the days brighten up and the light starts to change to herald the beginning of spring. Maybe it's the 'hopeful' sightings of daffodils and tulips as they push their way up from the under-ground to test the weather.

 I also experimented with a selection of dried herbs and spices from my pantry, the most successful of which was Turmeric and a mixed selection of Jamaican curry spices that I had purchased in a bustling market place on a previous trip over there.Shades of turmericI loved the variety of yellows and orange shades produced by the herbs and spices on the beautifully soft alpaca and other fibres.
